THE TEAM
He's "just a coach" he says. everybody knows him for his dedication to his teams. This undefected will to see the players improve led him to create the first version of Kyber Vision. He would not tell but Lionel has been in touch with top international coaches like Laurent Tillie, Andrea Giani and Emile Rousseaux. So when he says something, that's not only him talking. Ha ha! Well... He also has some ideas of his own like system analysis applied to Volley Ball.
Passionate about science in general, Virgile is a motion designer and graphics designer who graduated from the prestigious HEAD in Geneva. He has now 2 bachelors in Arts and Visual Communication. His talents were immediately percieved as a tremendous asset for the Project. He's now in charge of all models, of the website design. Some of the most advanced features of Kyber Vision would not exist without his ability to transform concepts into cleverly designed screens.
Everything starts with a need... That's what Vincent brought to the Project. He's the one who had a Team that needed a coach and some kind of software to help them improve! Vincent is the lucky captain of a local team in a local championship. He naturally became one of the Beta Testers of the app. His appetite for progress is litteraly contagious. As far as I remember he was always in for a game; up for practice and eager to learn. I'm not sure but HaiKyuu could be one of his motivations ;)
Odeyssa is THE young, skilled and enthusiastic woman everybody in the team wants to work with. Odey joined the team just before she graduated from Aix-Marseille University with a Master in Ergonomics. For her, Kyber Vision is a lab where all her knowledge can be applied. And I must say, she has tons of Creativity along with the Human Skills to push her ideas. In the end Kyber Vision interfaces and even the software "mindset" were greatly influenced by her talent.
If Kyber Vision was born with Johanne, Lionel, Lucas, Odeyssa, Stéphane, Vincent and Virgile, we could say that Extended Universe was born with Nick, Head Developer of the Mobile App. Nick recently joined the team with a very open mind, which is one of his characteristics. We appreciate his passion to use technology to make this world a better place. Nick is very driven. We are lucky to have him on board!
Stéphane is our Qt/C++ Master. He turned the idea of KV2, a standalone version of Kyber Vision, into reality (whereas KV1 was developed in VBA within an Excel spreadsheet). Nonetheless, he is also a great volley-ball player which gives him the perfect perspective about the game. The Team is very grateful to have Stéphane on board. We are so fortunate that he developed KV2; because most of the time he's busy developing some other crazy stuff!
Lucas has been the best sponsor of the application since it started; when the software was really bad looking and not yet nicely featured. More than a Beta User today, Lucas is the link between the Software Team and a real Playing Team. All the efforts we put in the software convert into new skills in Lucas' (Explosive!) Team. Lucas catched Volley Ball like one would catch a flu. The only problem : There is no cure for Volley-Ball...
A team cannot function without a cook. Especially an Ergonomist-Cook. We thank Johanne for her contribution in the early times of Kyber Vision. She brought the idea of a shared workspace in Notion that kept the Project alive when everybody was busy doing something else. Johanne has her own way to gather the team and hold efficient meetings : a secret banana-bread recipe. Although her professional life pulled her towards some other projects we deeply thank her for her contribution.
Vincent is the youngest member of the team! Kyber Vision web app will be a big milestone in his studies. The rest of the team is so proud and excited! If you don’t find Vincent coding, he must be skating his rollers! In 2 years from now Vincent will graduate from a top class Tech School EPITECH ! Hire him!
